Laurens Holve began his Medical
Education in 1977 at University College London where he read
Physiology.
After graduating he
attended a four year full time course at the British College of
Naturopathy and Osteopathy., qualifying in 1984 and
simultaneously attended a four year part time course at the
College of Homoeopathy obtaining a licentiate in Homoeopathy.
Following
graduation in 1985 he worked at a Homoeopathic Hospital in
Bombay and after this he attended his first course in
Acupuncture at Colombo South General Hospital Sri - Lanka.
To further his
studies in Acupuncture, during 1986 - 1987 he did a further
Postgraduate Course in London, after which he studied and worked
at the Shanghai College of Traditional Chinese Medicine,
completing and obtaining an advanced certificate of Acupuncture.
He returned to
Shanghai in 1991 to further his Clinical training at the Renji
Hospital in Shanghai.
From 1992 - 1994 he
studied at the College of Chinese Herbal Medicine in London,
graduating in 1994.
He has been in full
time practice from 1984 in North London where he founded the
Camden Practice, and in 1995 Harley Street since 1985 he has been
working in Woking where he still currently runs York Clinic.
His rich training
and experience have uniquely enabled him to draw upon all three
medical disciplines. This offers the patient an extensive range
of treatments which achieve clinically effective results
